Handwoven by a group of 6 artisans from the state of Guerrero. The palm is dyed in a traditional way and braided by hand to form thin strips, which are then ironed with a hand tool to leave them flat and smooth. They are then cooked with a traditional machine, forming an oval shape, strip by strip.
