The name, Katira, means blonde in Venezuela, and is what Marta Figar, its founder, was called by her grandfather.
This project was born at the end of 2020, led by Marta, a graduate in Business Administration and Fashion and Luxury Management, whose desire is to bring a combination of three of her greatest passions to every home: craftsmanship, design and travel.
Katira seeks to offer innovative pieces, which find the balance between the classic and the avant-garde, which have been carefully selected among the best suppliers and artisans we have found from Mexico to Morocco, passing through Portugal, Tunisia or
Colombia.
Our goal is to give value to handmade, to the work of artisans
and the traditional techniques that have been used for years in different parts of the world, and bringing from each of these destinations a piece of art in the form of furniture, accessories, embroidery or tablecloths made with natural fibers and colorful prints.
