Covers woven in the state of Chiapas by a group of 25 women. The cotton thread is woven on a wooden backstrap loom. Once the white cotton thread base is raised, the weaving begins. The women tie the loom around their waist and finally tie it to a tree to weave the base and the figures. Afterwards, they are cut and knotted one by one. The entire process is done by hand, and often two different artisans are involved, one weaves and the other knots.
