The 5 Boutique Hotels You Should Visit for Their Decor

If there's one thing we love to do, it's travel. This is how we find inspiration for our products and collections.

When we travel, we don't just focus on or are interested in the city or place we're visiting. We pay close attention when choosing a hotel, as we believe there are wonderful boutique hotels, rural houses, or resorts that deserve to be known for their decor or architecture.

Here are 5 of the most beautiful boutique hotels we've visited or would like to visit. Decorated by Isabel López-Quesada and Jaime Parlade, among others, all of these hotels have their own unique charm and are not to be missed.

Aldeallana Hamlet

Located just an hour from Madrid, in Segovia, this small hotel is perfect for a weekend getaway from the city. It's an original country house from the 1800s, converted into an experience that combines traditional Segovian architecture with the comforts of a luxurious bed & breakfast.

Isabel López-Quesada and Rocío, the estate's owner, were responsible for decorating the entire space, successfully conveying an atmosphere of tranquility, luxury, and peace in every room of the country house. Each room is decorated differently, but all equally beautiful, with the decorator's signature play of textures and patterns.

A dream to wake up in one of its rooms!

Christine Bedford

In the heart of Mahón, Menorca, you'll find this newly opened boutique hotel. You'll enjoy your stay to the fullest and feel like a local. Decorated by Lorenzo Castillo, who has captured his style by blending the three cultures of Menorca: French, Arabic, and English, bringing together souvenirs, objects, and different styles.

Both he and Cristina Lozano, one of its owners, have achieved a very cozy and sophisticated result.

Many of the objects and furniture you'll find in this impressive house come from antique dealers in different countries, such as France and England.

Alcuzcuz Hotel Boutique

If you want to unwind in a true oasis just a stone's throw from Marbella, the Hotel Boutique Alcuzcuz is the place for you.

Decorator Jaime Parladé's country house, converted into a beautiful six-room boutique hotel, fuses Andalusian charm with British comfort.

Parladé's décor, which blends styles and colors, will make you feel right at home, as will its wonderful patios and gardens.

The Bionda

On the Costa Brava, specifically in Begur, you'll find the La Bionda hotel, or the closest thing to a home.

Quintana Partners not only handled the decoration and construction, but also contributed to the creation of the image and branding.

The 17th-century stone building has been restored to retain its stone vaults and other traditional features, but it has been modernized to reflect a more youthful style and atmosphere, combining antique pieces found at markets with modern headboards and lampshades.

Buenavista Lanzarote

One of the places in our Top 5 to visit soon is Buenavista Lanzarote Country Suites. A collection of apartments with an incomparable design located in a volcanic setting.

It was designed and restored by architect Néstor Pérez, who managed to perfectly blend in with its surroundings.

The hotel owners have decorated with art, artwork, books, and other details from friends, giving the hotel a homey feel.
