Napkins woven on a backstrap loom in the state of Chiapas, by a group of 25 women. The cotton thread is woven on a backstrap loom, made of wood. Once the background is raised, which is in white cotton thread, the weaving begins, for which the women tie the loom around their waist and at the end they tie it to a tree and they weave the background and the figures.
Later they are cut and knotted one by one. The whole process is done by hand, many times there are two different artisans, one weaves and the other knots.
